Wildflower Meadow, Cambridge Gardens, Twickenham

Cambridge Gardens is on the Middlesex bank of the River Thames in East Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames; map link here. It's a picturesque setting that over looks Richmond Bridge and renowned Richmond riverside. Richmond Council decided on 12th May 2008, after a community campaign, to keep this garden for community use rather than lease to a commercial enterprise.

We have formed the Friends of Cambridge Gardens to help the council enhance this green and make it a beautiful breathing space. We hope that everyone living nearby will benefit – children, the elderly and everyone else. The more people involved the more fun it will be and all ideas are welcome!
